Trinidad Botanical Garden These photos were taken on a recent visit to Trinidad, as part of a long walk around the Savannah, in Port of Spain. The Botanical Garden is well worth a visit for its magnificent collection of tropical trees. I started out at Archbishop's House, and took a leisurely walk around the northern end.
ADENIUMS: CAUDICIFORMS FROM AFRICA Adeniums are fast becoming some of our favourite succulents. With their abundance of flowers they can easily be our loved houseplants. They will probably flourish much more if placed outside in th sun, because they love the tropical climate. They prefer well-drained soil, and if grown in temperate climate should be kept above 10 C degrees. They are more commonly found in Africa and the Middle eastern countries. Yet it is the production of the new exotic hybrids in various colours which is responsible for their rise in popularity. Enjoy the photos.
You can find more information on growing adeniums at 'the Adenium Page' with Andre and Mark in this link b http://www.cactus-mall.com/andre CAUDICIFORMS at EXOTICA It is always nice to visit Erkelenz/Huckelhoven, to enjoy Marita and Ernst Specks enchanting EXOTICA nursery. Once again I was able to buy some of my favourite caudiciforms. This time I was also able to take some photographs which I publish below.
